The U01 Premium Urinal – 300mm Projection, Heavy Duty, Stadium & High Volume Use is a robust and hygienic solution designed for public washrooms, schools, commercial premises, stadiums, and high-volume facilities. Manufactured from 1.5mm thick stainless steel, this heavy-duty urinal offers exceptional durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning, ensuring reliable performance in even the busiest environments.

Featuring an extended 300mm projection and a height of 570mm, this premium model delivers enhanced user comfort while its thicker profile ends provide additional strength for heavy-duty use. The front skirt and trap cover improve hygiene by concealing pipework, creating a sleek and professional appearance throughout the washroom.

For complete convenience, the U01 Premium Urinal comes supplied with a stainless steel cistern, downpipe, and domed plastic waste, making it a comprehensive package that is straightforward to install. The wall-mounted design offers space-saving benefits while allowing easy access for cleaning and maintenance.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure the wall is solid, level, and capable of supporting the urinal when in use.
  • Check that water supply and waste positions are correctly located before installation.
  • All installation work should be carried out by a competent installer using appropriate fixings for the wall type.

Recommended Mounting Heights

Measure from finished floor level to the trough:

  • Adult installation: 620 mm
  • Junior installation: 470 mm

Mark a horizontal level line across the wall at the required height.

Mounting the Urinal Body

  1. Offer the urinal body up to the wall at the marked height.
  2. On the back of the urinal ends there are two keyhole mounting slots. Mark the fixing positions on the wall.
  3. Drill and insert suitable wall plugs or anchors.
  4. Install the wall fixings, leaving the heads slightly proud to allow the urinal to locate into the keyhole slots.
  5. Lift the urinal body into position and locate onto the keyhole slots.
  6. Check the urinal body is level.
  7. Use the additional fixing holes provided to securely fix the urinal body to the wall.

Waste Connection

  1. Connect the waste outlet to the waste pipework.
  2. Ensure the waste pipe has adequate fall for drainage.
  3. Seal all joints as required.
  4. Check for leaks.

Final Checks

  • Confirm the urinal body is secure and level.
  • Ensure all fixings are tightened.
  • Run water through the system to test drainage and connections.
  • Clean the urinal body after installation.

This cistern is designed for straightforward installation using a petcock (isolation valve) and syphon. All work should be carried out by a competent installer and in accordance with current UK plumbing regulations.

  • Secure the cistern in position using suitable wall fixings, ensuring it is level before fully tightening.
  • Fit the syphon into the cistern outlet, making sure the rubber washer is positioned inside the cistern. Tighten the backnut hand-tight plus a small nip.
  • Install the inlet valve into the cistern inlet with the sealing washer located internally.
  • Fit a petcock to the incoming cold-water supply, positioning it so it remains easily accessible for isolation and maintenance.
  • Connect the water supply from the petcock to the inlet valve using 15mm pipework and appropriate fittings.
  • Fit the flush pipe to the syphon outlet, ensuring correct alignment.

Important:
Do not push the downpipe more than 25mm into the cistern, as excessive insertion can restrict syphon operation and prevent a full flush.

Once installed, slowly open the petcock, allow the cistern to fill, and check all connections for leaks. Adjust the inlet valve to achieve the correct water level and test the flush operation.

The CNC corner nose capping has a fixed length of 260mm and must be included when determining the overall length of the urinal installation. When selecting a urinal length, add 260mm to calculate the finished overall length.

Example:

  • Urinal Length 1: 900mm
  • CNC Corner Nose Capping: 260mm
  • Overall Installed Length: 1160mm
