Description
The floor recessed slab urinal is a robust and hygienic sanitary solution designed for use in schools, public washrooms, transport facilities, leisure centres, custodial environments, and other high-traffic commercial settings. Manufactured from durable Grade 304 stainless steel, this floor-mounted unit is recessed into the floor to provide a clean, streamlined appearance while delivering exceptional durability and ease of maintenance.
Designed for demanding environments, the urinal features an integral stainless steel sparge pipe that provides effective water distribution across the urinal surface, helping to maintain cleanliness and reduce maintenance requirements. The vandal-resistant stainless steel construction offers excellent resistance to corrosion, impact damage, and everyday wear, making it suitable for areas subject to heavy usage.
This floor recessed slab urinal is supplied complete with a stainless steel downpipe, domed plastic waste, and plastic cistern, providing a complete installation package. The simple yet practical design promotes efficient drainage while minimising dirt traps and hard-to-clean areas. As a result, cleaning routines are simplified and hygiene standards are easier to maintain.
The recessed floor installation creates a neat and professional finish that integrates seamlessly into a variety of washroom layouts. Furthermore, the stainless steel construction ensures long-term performance in environments where reliability and durability are essential.
Suitable for both new-build and refurbishment projects, the floor recessed slab urinal offers a practical and cost-effective solution for facilities requiring a hard-wearing communal urinal system. Its robust design, complete installation package, and low-maintenance construction make it an ideal choice for commercial and institutional washroom applications.
Combine your order with:
CNC – Corner Capping – Combine two urinals together at a corner.
Down Pipe Cover – Protect the inlet pipe from the cistern against damage.
Urinal Flushing Control – Smart automatic control of the solenoid. Flushes the cistern based on movement reducing water usage
1-1/2″ bottle trap – Prevents odours from drainage
This cistern is designed for straightforward installation using a petcock (isolation valve) and syphon. All work should be carried out by a competent installer and in accordance with current UK plumbing regulations.
- Secure the cistern in position using suitable wall fixings, ensuring it is level before fully tightening.
- Fit the syphon into the cistern outlet, making sure the rubber washer is positioned inside the cistern. Tighten the backnut hand-tight plus a small nip.
- Install the inlet valve into the cistern inlet with the sealing washer located internally.
- Fit a petcock to the incoming cold-water supply, positioning it so it remains easily accessible for isolation and maintenance.
- Connect the water supply from the petcock to the inlet valve using 15mm pipework and appropriate fittings.
- Fit the flush pipe to the syphon outlet, ensuring correct alignment.
Important:
Do not push the downpipe more than 25mm into the cistern, as excessive insertion can restrict syphon operation and prevent a full flush.
Once installed, slowly open the petcock, allow the cistern to fill, and check all connections for leaks. Adjust the inlet valve to achieve the correct water level and test the flush operation.
